Power Expansion at Bothwell-Accurate: 100A Sub Panel & Equipment Upgrades
- Addition of a 100A, 208 volts, 3 phase panel
- Addition of 12 20 A receptacles
- Installation of 2 30 A, 208 volts, 3 phase receptacles
At Bothwell-Accurate we provided the plant with a 100 amps, 208 volts, 3 phase sub panel for additional load required in the shop area.
They needed an additional 120-volt 20-amp receptacle as well as 30 amps, 208 volts, and 3-phase outlets for equipment and charging stations. Using cable trays and fasteners we installed Tek cables and EMT conduits to bring the power from the main power distribution about 150 feet away to the shop area.
As per electrical code and building codes, we ensured proper installation and fire-stopping methods. The high ceilings tilt up the building, which requires aerial lift and fall protection training. Upon completion, the project was inspected and energized providing extra power for the plant.
